Luke 2:1-20

Verses 8-20 – angels worship Jesus at His birth and announce His birth

            – The shepherds praise Jesus at His birth – peace will finally arrive

1. PEACE IS IN A PERSON – Isaiah 9:6

-Wonderful – present to assist us, and He is great and fantastic and marvelous

-Counselor – one who can give wisdom and guidance

Mighty God – He is powerful, strong, and can do anything

Everlasting Father – Jesus Christ is God

Prince of Peace – Jesus is total and complete peace – Jesus is Peace

-Peace means to join yourself together with someone to receive quiet, tranquility, contentment, and calmness

-Peace is only in Jesus, and the wise men were looking for this kind of peace

2.) PEACE HAS FEET – EPHESIANS 6:10-18 (V15)

-ALWAYS WALK TOWARD JESUS during times of stress and anxiety

Walk toward Jesus to be saved – Romans 5:1

Walk toward Jesus to stay in peace

——–Peace can be permanent

-This is giving everything over to Jesus

-Through prayer and praise – Philippians 4:6-9

-The Lord supernaturally pushes away all anxiety and worry

-So we can have a permanent peace – NO MATTER WHAT……

I have a lot of decisions to make, and I am stressed out – Colossians 3:15 – Let the umpire guide your life, and the umpire is PEACE……

-When you have peace, you are in the will of GOD

-When you are confused, fearful, unsure, and extremely nervous, you are out of the will of God and should not make any decisions at this time
