In that Day – Verses 4,6,8,9,11

-This refers to the return of Jesus Christ

-This is called the last days

– Last – means the ultimate end of something

               ***The end of humans ruling

               ***The end of the devil & demons

               ***The end of the curse of sin

Verse 4 – The Lord fights for Israel at the battle of Armageddon

Verse 4 – I WILL DO IT

Verse 6 – I’m gonna make it happen

Verses 5-7 – the Lord uses the battle of Armageddon to bring Israel to salvation

Verse 7 – Judah first – this represents more of the middle & lower classes

-Jerusalem – more of an upper class of people – James 2:1-10

Verses 8-9 – these verses also refer to the battle of Armageddon

        ***We can count on the Lord to fight with us and fight our battles

        ***Leaders are finally going to fight – v5

Verse 8 – the people must be fighting

Feeble – the weak will become strong, like King David

-Israel will receive supernatural strength – it will be like fighting God Himself

Declare: I am not going to lose my fight

1. I am going to fight with authority – Acts 16:16-18

-It is a forever fight, but a winning fight

2. I am going to fight with common sense – Ephesians 5:17

3. I am going to fight by staying refreshed in 2 ways:

              1. Staying close to the Lord – Genesis 1:27

-We all give out every day, and we need to stay filled up

              2. Rest – Genesis 1:17 -2:1-3 – the first thing man did after they were created was to rest

4. I am going to fight with the Word of God – Isaiah 55:11

-The Word works and is alive – STAND ON THE WORD – James 1:6-8

-Romans 4:19-21 – stand on the Word by placing your faith in Jesus & the Bible
