Sermon Notes 10/19 – It’s Time To Pray

    IT’S TIME TO PRAY

                          2 PRAYER PRINCIPLES

1. PRAYER PRINCIPLE #1 – Pray According To The Will Of God

-the will of God is found in the Word of God

-praying in God’s will means we have our request as soon as we pray even if the answer to our prayer has not appeared yet

2. PRAYER PRINCIPLE #2 – PRAY SPECIFICALLY – Phil 4:6 & 1Tim 2:1

-a specific prayer is to pray that all believers will walk in God’s love and understand that God loves them

                               1 John 3:1-3

The words supplications, requests and petitions refer to specific prayer

1. John 3:1 is a Statement of Amazement

behold means to get everyones attention/you have got to come and see this

The love of God is unbelievable/wonderful and supernatural

***We must become a NO MATTER WHAT believer

No Matter What – the Lord will always love us

We HAVE ALL OF GODS LOVE ALL OF THE TIME…….

ROMANS 8:35-39

A STRATEGY OF SATAN AND HIS DEMONS – it is to try to convince us that the Lord does not love us when our lives don’t line up with Gods Word

REMEMBER: Weakness Invites Aggression

Stand against the enemy – 1 John 4:4

2. 1 John 3:1 is a Statement of Gratitude

Being thankful is the will of God – 1 Thess 5:18

Being thankful is Always – Ephesians 5:20

-we are not thankful for the bad things that happen to us.  We are thankful for the work the Lord is doing is us and through us…
