1. Definition

Spiritual rain is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and is blessings and grace

2. Only the Lord can produce spiritual rain – Ezekiel 34:26

-Ask the Lord because only He can give us spiritual rain

-The Lord desires His kids to experience His rain

3. There are 2 main kinds of rain in the Bible

-Joel 2:23-25 and Hosea 6:3

-the former rain – fall rain

-the latter rain – spring 

***It will rain everywhere – Psalm 72:6

           BY ASKING – Zechariah 10:1

-James 5:17-18 – Elijah

-Keep asking – Matthew 7:7-8/Psalm 34:4

           BY EXPECTANCY & FAITH – 2 Kings 18:43-46

-be persistent and keep on asking

            BY SEEING THE SIGNS OF THE LORDS RETURN

1 Thessalonians 5:1-9 – PEACE……..there several elements that need to exist for it to rain physically and spiritually

        Several Elements are needed to receive the Lord’s Rain – Joshua 3

1. CLOSE YOUR UMBRELLA – Joshua 3:3

-it’s a decision to get wet

-a key word in Joshua 3 – Crossover

-Crossover from no rain to rain – move to a place where it is raining

-Go After It  — Follow It — make a decision

2. FORM SOME CLOUDS – Joshua 3:1

-spend time with Jesus every day and form some clouds – glory clouds

3. THORNS ARE IN YOUR FUTURE – JOSHUA 3:1

-The Acacia grove or wood is Shittim and the acacia branches have thorns on them

-Thorns make us uncomfortable and get us to move on

4. ALIGNMENT – Joshua 3:1, 17 & 4:1

-all of Israel were unified

-Acts 1:14 & 2:1

5. ITS SEPARATION TIME – Joshua 3:5

-separate means to move away from

-it is living a righteous, holy, godly life of repentance
