Sermon Notes 6/22 – Even If

***EVEN IF Believers Keep Their Voice

-Daniel 3:3-4, 16-18, 30

-The fiery furnace represent fiery trials, hardships and difficult times

-Cancel Culture – never allow your trials to silence you.  EVEN IF believers keep their voice no matter what.  Our voices will not be cancelled…….

-Let everything that has breath praise the Lord (please place this scripture on the LED walls – Psalm 150:6)

(1.) HOW WE PRAISE IS DETERMINED BY HOW WELL WE KNOW THE ONE WE PRAISE – – – WHO IS JESUS – Philippians 3:10

***There is a real connection between what we believe or don’t believe and how we worship….

Know – means to experience

                a. We need to know who the Lord is

      -He is the always God

***The revelation of God is the fuel for the fire of our worship…

                b. We need to know what He can do

***We are to magnify the Miracle Worker above the mess

(2.) PRAISE IS A CHOICE OR DECISION – Hebrews 13:15

-a sacrifice of praise is praising the Lord when we don’t feel like it or dont want to

-We will put on a garment of praise – Isaiah 63:1-3

       *this is daily, intentional and regardless of feelings

       *This verse also refers to fact that no one can do your praising for you

Be A Rain Maker ———-

-as we get to know Jesus and make a decision to praise Him, He responds with spiritual rain – Hosea 6:3

***If we do not praise the Lord – no rain – Zech 14:17

***If we do praise the Lord – there is rain – Joel 2:23

*We receive the former and the latter rain

Former rain – is rain that comes in the fall – this rain had already come and we are to praise the lord for what the Lord has done

Latter rain – is rain that comes in the spring.  This is rain that is going to come, but has not come yet…We praise the Lord for what we are going to receive before we get it
