Sermon Notes 5/4 – Even If

                               Daniel 3:10-18 (v18)

Daniel 3  – 3 Jewish EVEN IF men would not bow down to an idol

-Jesus is looking for an EVEN IF believer

1. EVEN IF BELIEVERS HAVE A BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW AND PERSPECTIVE WHEN IT COMES TO FIERY TRIALS – Acts 14:22

-we know that we will have trials…no one is exempt

-the enemy is a liar – John 8:44 – in two ways

1. God’s Presence – Isaiah 43:2

-the Lord is with you during every trial

2. God’s Love – 1 Peter 4:12-13

beloved – means divinely loved ones

***Trials are sent to us to test us – 1 Peter 4:12

***Develop Patience

-Patience means to wait without complaining to allow the Lord to deal with us and change our lives

-Waiting means to stay in place

-The Lord arranges each trial for our lives – do not run from them

-If we allow it to happen, a time of testing will work for us and not against us

REJOICE – 1 Peter 4:12-13 – it means to keep on rejoicing

-not rejoicing for the trial, but for what the Lord is doing is us through the trial

(2.) EVEN IF BELIEVERS DECLARE THEIR EVEN IFS – Daniel 3:16-18

-the 3 Jewish men made their EVEN IF declarations verbal & outloud
