Sermon Notes 11/3 – Psalm 91
PSALM 91
I WILL SAY – refers to our language and voice
***A VOICE MUST HAVE MORE PRIVATE TIME THAN PUBLIC TIME***
***As we dwell, stay & remain in the secret place on a daily basis, the Lord deals with our speech – Eccl 5:1-5 & James 1:19.
***Dwelling in the secret place helps us when we witness and share the gospel
***Dwelling in the secret place changes what we say about the Lord
THE LORD IS FAITHFUL
Surely or He will rescue you – this means THE LORD IS FAITHFUL and THE LORD WILL DO IT

THE LORD IS FAITHFUL – Revelation 1:5…2:13…3:14…19:11
-faithful means to be dependable, reliable, loyal and can be counted on
(1.) THE LORD IS FAITHFUL EVEN WHEN WE ARE NOT FAITHFUL – 2 timothy 2:11-13
-He demonstrates and proves His love for us – Romans 5:8
***JESUS IS THE GOD OF ULTIMATE RELIABILITY***
THE GLORY OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS IS THAT NO SIN OF OURS HAS EVER MADE HIM UNFAITHFUL
Where is God? He is always faithful even when though we cannot see Him and even when we cannot see Him working on our behalf
-Trust in the Lord. He is Faithful
(2.) THE LORD IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL – Psalm 91:5-6 and Deuteronomy 7:9
Day – one arrow represents a small attack from the enemy
Night – terror are nightmares…dreams and cannot sleep at night
Noon – represents large attacks from the enemy and waste means to kill
-No matter what happens to us – The Lord is Faithful
