Sermon Notes 4/21 – Cosmic Conflict

                                       The Invisible World

                                        Ephesians 6;10-20

***Paul is under house arrest and chained to Roman guards 24/7/365

***The Lord gave Paul insight about spiritual warfare & armor for believers

v10 – the believer is more powerful than any demonic force

able – means to be infused with an excessive dose of supernatural, miraculous, dynamic inner strength, ability, power and authority

       -this power is deposited in every believer at salvation

       -this power increases as we spend daily time with Jesus

***We will see an outward manifestation of the Lord’s power

***DECLARE: I am strong in the Lord & in the power of His Might

Clothe yourself…Be fully dressed with the armor of God

Stand Against – do not give up any ground to the enemy

        The believer must use their authority against the enemy.  The Lord will not

                    do it for the believer……..

     Paul gives us two points to Remember:

1. CREATE CLARITY TO ELIMINATE CONFUSION – Luke 9:1-2

-Be clear with the enemy that he is defeated and underneath your feet

2. THERE IS NO LEVEL OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY THAT KEEPS THE BELIEVER IMMUNE FROM THE ENEMY AND HIS ATTACKS – Eph 6:12

              All Believers Can Expect Spiritual Attacks – Luke 8:26-27

1. WE CAN EXPECT A SPIRITUAL ATTACK WHEN WE TAKE SIGNIFICANT

                        STEPS OF FAITH FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH

2. WE CAN EXPECT A SPIRITUAL ATTACK FROM THE ENEMY WHEN WE

                         ARE INVADING ENEMY TERRITORY
