Sermon Notes 2/18 – Samson

                                    Judges 14:19 & 15:14-17,20

*Samson was a voice to Israel

*The body of Christ in America must be a voice

BE A VOICE (this is something to place on the LED walls)

(1.) A VOICE MUST HAVE MORE PRIVATE TIME THAN PUBLIC TIME – PSALM 91

Psalm 91:1 – this is spending time with the Lord every day.  verse 2 – Then we can begin to share and witness

***What people see us doing happens because of the things they do not see us doing***

***REFUSE TO RELY ON ANYTHING BUT YOUR TIME WITH THE LORD

***Our VOICE must be a voice of love, grace, kindness and truth

***Acts 4:13 – the Lord will use anyone to be a voice

(2.) BE A VOICE TO THE INVISIBLE – Ephesians 6:10-12

-the battle we are involved in is an invisible spiritual battle

-our battle is not with people

-the main issue is sin – the sin nature – and not sins

-Jesus loves the lost and we must love the lost and be a voice to them – Luke 15:8-10 and Luke 19:10 (you can type out Luke 19:10 for all of the LED walls)…

(3.) BE A VOICE FOR THE LOST  – 1 Corinthians 15:1-5

-the church is to be the voice of the lost today

-the church is to be for people, life, healing and redemption

*it is hard to kill a voice

*The Lord prepares people to receive the gospel – Eccl 3:11
