Sermon Notes 5/28 – Freedom

In the same way patriots shed their BLOOD so we can have freedom in the US, Jesus shed His BLOOD so we can be set FREE from SIN)

There is a spiritual WAR  being waged for the soul of the US

The enemy has attacked prayer

The enemy has attacked life

The enemy has attacked marriages and families

The enemy has attacked our identity

Christianity is inclusive  the road is narrow but the INVITATION IS WIDE

The true intent behind diversity and tolerance is an attempt at RATIONALIZING SIN

We may try to rationalize our sin however what is right and what is wrong is not something we can change

Sometimes you have to win the BATTLE WITH IN before you win the war

Romans 7:14-15 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

As you listen to preachers realize it’s not so much about what you hear, it’s about what you don’t hear being preached

The BLOOD SACRIFICE of Jesus Christ is a truth that is foundational to our faith.  (it is nonnegotiable either you accept it or you reject Christianity altogether)

IT IS FINISHED    Tetelestai PAID IN FULL (at the cross His last will and testament went into effect

Since the Price has been paid we have freedom from sin in Jesus
