Sermon Notes 4/2 – PALM SUNDAY THE TRIUMPHAL ENTRY OF JESUS

-Luke 19:28-40

1.) Praise and Worship Produces Peace

-the Source of peace is Jesus Christ

-permanent peace is only found in Jesus

 We receive and walk in peace by putting our praise on – Isaiah 61:3

-Christianity has a dress code – putting on a garment of praise

-putting on our praise repels our enemies/pushes them away

-When we turn our worry into worship, the Lord will turn our battles into blessings…..

2.) Praise and Worship Is Continual – Luke 19:39-40

-never stop praising – continually praise – Keep your praise on

-Jesus is Worthy to be praised – Jesus deserves to be praised – Revelation 5:1-14 – Jesu is Worthy

3.)  Praise and Worship is Vocal  – Luke 19:39-40

-Praise and worship is lifting our voices to the Lord

-Jesus tells us to be vocal – Luke 19:39-40 – we must obey the Lord

-Loud praise will be in heaven – Rev 5:11-12

-Be vocal in your praise even when you don’t get what you want

-Be vocal when you praise the Lord
