SAMSON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. WE NEED THE SUPERNATURAL POWER AND PRESENCE FROM THE LORD BACK IN THE CHURCH TODAY – Judges 14:5-6, 19 & 15:14
-Christmas is a supernatural time and the Bible & Jesus are supernatural
-the supernatural operating is noticeable and testimonies happen
-the supernatural occurs because of a Nazarite vow – Judges 13:1-5
Psalm 91
v1 – He – is every born again believer
     -who – each believer has a choice to dwell or not dwell in Christ every day
     -dwells – means to stay and remain in Christ
     -secret place – this is the place of spending time with Jesus Christ every day
-the Lord has made His choice – He wants to spend time with His children
-what our Christian life is like is up to each believer – it is our choice
-right choices produce rewards – Hebrews 11:6
-we need to desire a full reward – 2 John 8
-the world – Delilah – attempts to pull us away from the Lord – Judges 16:2-6, 20
-Samson did not even know the Lord had left him – the church does not know this either – Judges 16:20
-Revelation 3:14-22 – Laodicea was a lukewarm church and was relying on their own strength
-Psalm 91 – staying in the secret place every day creates staying power
-One More Time – One More Chance – Do It Again Lord – Judges 16:21-31 (v28)
