Sermon Notes 8/25 – Women’s Conference 2022

JOSHUA 6

 

1) LISTEN- Joshua 6: 1-5

 

  1. Jeremiah 29:13 – We can only hear Him when we take time out to seek Him…. and be quiet….

  2. GENESIS 6:14-16   “AND THIS IS HOW YOU SHALL MAKE IT!”

  3. Since we are truly living in the last days, we need to be desperate to hear what the Lord is saying.

  4. Isaiah 30:21- Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”

  5. Lord, what are my marching orders?!

 

2) DO- Joshua 6: 6-10

 

  1. Be prepared to do something that might seem a little crazy or make you uncomfortable

  2. Jesus healed the blind man with mud

  3. They marched around taking ground of what the Lord had already promised them! What has He promised you?!

  4. Miracles can happen when we walk in obedience to God.   Philippians 2:8 – “and being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death- even death on a cross”

 

3) SHOUT! – Joshua 6: 11-16, 20

 

  1. Vs.16  SHOUT FOR THE LORD HAS GIVEN YOU THIS CITY!

  2. There is power in the praise

  3. Philippians 2:9-10- There is POWER in the name of JESUS!

  4. There is Authority in the name of Jesus!

  5. USE YOUR VOICE TO LIFT UP THE NAME OF JESUS!

  6. John 12:32 If I am lifted up, then I will draw all men unto me
