COUNT IT ALL JOY
James 1:1-8
James 1:1-8 is about trials and hardships
***every believer will encounter difficult times and times of pressure
***we are surrounded by trials in these last days – personal and world pressures
—we can have joy @ all times
CONSIDER IT ALL JOY
All Joy – means joy to the highest degree…cheerfulness…
All – in all trials we can have joy
-joy is a fruit that increases as we abide in the Lord daily
Consider or Count – is a financial term to evaluate your business concerning income and expenses. We must evaluate our trial and situation…
2 Chronicles 20:1-4 – – – Jehosophat was surrounded by enemies
-Jehosophat told Israel to place themselves in a position of praise & worship
2 Praise & Worship Points
(1.) LOOK BACK TO LOOK AHEAD – 2 Chronicles 20:5-9
-we look back to see what the Lord has done and give Him thanks…
-Jehosophat looked back to see what the Lord had done for him and Israel
-what the Lord did in the past, He can do for us again
-Follow The Stones – Joshua 3:14-17 & 4:4-9
(2.) PRAISE BASED ON FAITH THANKS JESUS FOR WHAT HE WILL DO BEFORE HE DOES IT – 2 Chronicles 20:15-22
-don’t just praise the Lord when He does something for us
-praise the Lord before the manifestation of our prayer happens and before the solution to our problem and pressure occurs
-READY….AIM……PRAISE…..
