Racing Toward WWIII Conclusion

RACING TOWARD WW 3

1. WW3 OR THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON BRINGS ABOUT THE REDEMPTION OF ISRAEL – Zechariah 12:10 & 13:1-4

-most of the nations of the world come against Israel

-the United States needs to remain on the side of Israel – Gen 12:3

-those who are Jewish can be redeemed……Jesus came for gentiles & the Jewish people

-Daniel 12:1 – Michael the Archangel stands guard against the enemies of Israel

-the tribulation is for Israel – Jeremiah 30:7

-the church age is for all peoples – Jewish and gentile – Ephesians 2:11-18

2. WW3 OR THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON IS ULTIMATELY FOUGHT BY THE LORD – REV 19:11-16

-the Lord will never be defeated/He is unbeatable

-an unexpected invasion to earth occurs – the return of the Lord

-Jesus is not asleep He is alive,  awake & a fighter – Psalm 121:1-8

***When the Lord returns:

               a. All of Israel will be saved – Romans 11:26-27

               b. the antichrist is thrown into the lake of fire – Rev 19:19-20

               c. The Lord defeats all of the enemies of Israel – Rev 19:17-21

               d. The Lord sets up the millennial Kingdom – Rev 20:1-4

3. WW3 OR THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON DOES NOT HAPPEN WHILE THE CHURCH IS STILL ON THE EARTH – 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12

-thank you Lord for the church – there restraining force on the earth against evil

v1 – we ask you – speaks of being cautious and wise

coming – this is the personal appearance of the Lord

gathering – this refers to all believers

v2 – shaken in mind and troubled – alarmed; to cry;disturbed;agitated;thrown off balance;a rocking or shaking motion

vs3-4 – Paul tries to calm the fears of the church

do not be deceived – do not be naive or gullible

               (1) there will be a falling away first – people will reject wanting to know Jesus

               (2) the antichrist will be revealed – he will come out into the open and be revealed

v5 – it is to forget things that have been taught.  Paul reminded people of spiritual principles all of the time

v6 – restraining – means to hold down or back

-this force is now actively at work

-this is the body of Christ all over the earth

-the church is holding back wickedness from taking over

v7 – the spirit of lawlessness is upon the earth, but the antichrist has not been revealed yet

-continue to be a restraining force – this is the body of Christ continuing to pray – Matt 7:7-8

v8 “And then ” – the activities of the Antichrist will begin once the church is gone

vs9-12 – the antichrist is coming

working – means a strong operation

-includes demonic activity and possession and activity

-this working is among the unbelievers

BACK TO VERSE 8 – the Lord returns and takes care of the antichrist and his army….
