King Uzziah died which created confusion, confusion, financial uncertainty, idolatry manifested, Isaih was out of a job and a place to stay and Isarel was drifting away from the Lord,  but Isaiah Saw The Lord……

John received a vision from the Lord and he records it here in Isaiah 6:1-8

              What Happened When Isaiah Saw The Lord?

(1) ISAIAH RECEIVED A WAKE UP CALL

-he was sleeping spiritually  – THE TIME OF YAWNING IS OVER…….

-it happened because of trouble

-1 Chronicles 12:32 and 1 Thess 5:1-6

***1 Thess 5:6

             *Be Aware – of the times and what is going on

             * Be Alert – prepare…stay close…get and keep your armor on

2 Timothy 3:1

***Know this – absolutely positively know

***we are living in the last days – the Lord is coming back soon

***The Lord is giving a loud and clear message to planet earth

(2) ISAIAH REALIZED THAT ONLY JESUS MATTERS

-Isaiah lost everything—the culture was decaying around him

-Isaiah found out that only Jesus matters

–the world is empty, temporary and earthly

-we always need Jesus – in the good times and bad times

-we need a fresh vision of Jesus

                     IT IS TIME TO REFOCUS

-our eyes, our finances, our priorities, our families and our lives…….

          ***FOCUSING ON THE LORD PRODUCES COURAGE

-focus brings along with it confidence, backbone, and being avoice for Jesus

-Be Courageous And Do Not Panic-

-the worst thing we can do in any tense situation is panic

How do we make sure that we will not panic during difficult times?

(1) STAND ON THE PROMISES OF GOD – Joshua 1:1-3

(2) KNOW THE LORD HAS GIVEN US VICTORY OVER OUR ENEMIES – JOSHUA 1:5

(3) REALIZE OUR COMMUNITY AND NATION BELONG TO THE LORD – Joshua 1:3

-give the enemy an eviction notice
