The Enemy Is Involved

-demonic forces are involved in the storms that come against us
-the enemy wants to stop our futures

How is the enemy involved?
-Direct Attacks
-Piling on after the storm arrives
-Temptations

Direct Attack
Mark 4:35-40 (v39)
Matthew 17:14-18 (v18)
-A direct attack was launched giants Jesus by demons

Piling On
John 18:1-3
-Judas and his companions and troops represent the devil and demons
-the enemy is not mostly the source of the attack but he piles on

Temptation
Matthew 4:1-11
-temptation – means to solicit a person to do evil
all temptations can be defeated through the Word of God & the authority of the believer

-stay filled to resist temptation – Leviticus 6:8-13 – stay on fire

The devil and his demons work Full Time
Part Time Christians cannot defeat a Full time devil

-temptations are also called fiery darts – John 13:1-2 & Eph 6:16

-many temptations are just lies from the enemy – John 8:44

ENEMY STATEMENTS
1. FOLLOWING JESUS WHOLEHEARTEDLY ATTRACTS DEMONS AND STORMS
-more storms will come as you follow Jesus

-less storms will come as you back away from Jesus

REMEMBER: Demons find us. We do not look for them…….
Mark 5:1-5 — the enemy found Jesus

(2.) THE DEVIL AND DEMONS STEAL – John 10:10 & Mark 9:14-29
-do not allow the enemy to steal your joy, peace, health and victory and praise

-do not lose your hope

(3) THE ENEMY WILL TRY TO STOP YOU FROM PRAYING – Mathhew 26:36-46
-so you will enter into temptation

-never stop praying
