What to do when it storms 3

          ***We need to hear and listen to the voice of the Lord***

Rev 2:7,11,17 & 29…..3:6,13, & 22

1. The Lord speaks because He is a person

2. The Lord speaks to everyone

-He is a personal God

3. Expect the Lord to speak to you every day

(1.) THE VOICE OF THE LORD IS A REVEALING VOICE – Jeremiah 33:1-3

-the Lord reveals things to us as we pray

-He reveals things we do not know

-He reveals Who He Really Is

(2) THE VOICE OF THE LORD IS A PERSISTENT VOICE – Psalm 62:11

-over & over in the scripture the Lord got the attention of people persistently

-The Lord speaks to us in our spirits

         REMEMBER TWO PRINCIPLES:

***If it is the Lord who is speaking to you, it will remain with you and all other voices will evaporate

***The Lord is speaking even when He is not speaking

(3.) THE VOICE OF THE LORD IS A PEACEFUL VOICE – MARK 4:35-39

-we need peace in our minds and hearts at this time and all of the time

-Peace must rule our hearts – Col 3:15

Peace – means to join yourself together with God which results in calmness, tranquility & contentment

          The Voice of the Lord is speaking right now:

—I am Peace – John 14:27

—I have Peace for you – John 14:1-3

—My Peace can rule your life – Col 3:15

—My Peace includes Power
