1. Regeneration – Titus 3:1-8 ——— produces salvation and life
2. Anointing – Acts 10:38 ——- is for service
3. Filled – Eph 5:18 ——— produces fruit and Christian Character
1. There are many names for being filled – Romans 12:1-3/Galatians 5:16/John 15:1-10 and Ephesians 5:18-21
—filled means to be Holy Spirit controlled which produces fruit and Christian character
2. Being Filled is continual – Leviticus 6:8-13
-a daily process
-it is spending time with Jesus every day
-it is sacrificial
3. Being filled is a command – Ephesians 5:18
-the commands of the Lord are not burdensome – 1 John 5:3
-it is obeying our leader – Eph 2:1-5 & 1 Peter 1:14
4. Two Responsibilities in being filled and staying filled
1. The Responsibility of the believer
2. The Responsibility of the Lord
THE BELIEVERS RESPONSIBILITY – Phil 2:12-13
-self feeding
-working out – means to spend time with Jesus/work until there is a full completion
THE LORDS RESPONSIBILITY – Phil 2:13
-the Lord gives us the desire to spend time with Him – we can say yes or no
***BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WALKING IN THE SPIRIT & WALKING IN THE FLESH – Galatians 5:16
***BEING FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT – Acts 2:1-21
