Crying means to make a loud humming noise…to shout…to roar like a lion…a ringing or shrill sound…an actual shriek
We must cry out to the Lord because the Lord limits Himself to our prayers…
So why should we cry out in prayer to the Lord?

-Jesus will pass people ands ministries by when they do not cry out to Him…

-their hearts grew dull and they forgot the past
-whatever Jesus has done for you in the past, He can do that and more for you now and in the future
4. CRYING OUT TO THE LORD DELIVERS US FROM ALL OF OUR TROUBLES – Psalm 34:6,17 & Psalm 107:28-32
v50 – troubled – means to agitate…to cause inward commotion
*no one else can deliver you but Jesus….
v50 – “IT IS I”
*Jesus can deliver us from sins, addictions, everything…
What troubles were the disciples having?
FEAR – v50
-this fear had been with them for quite awhile – Do Not Be Afraid – Jesus was forbidding the continuance of an action already going on…….
Fear is a sign of the end times – Luke 21:26
Fear is a spirit – 2 Tim 1:7
4. CRYING OUT TO THE LORD PRODUCES SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCES – MARK 6:53-56
*As we cry out to the Lord in prayer, the Lord moves and does great things – IN THE MARKETPLACE…
-healing…demon oppression broken…people are saved and changed
