We have several street teams that invade our city for Jesus each week. We reach out in many practical ways in order to share the love of Christ and His gospel everywhere we go. You do not have to be an expert, you just have to be willing. We have plenty of simple tips to help everyone feel more comfortable in sharing their faith. Come be a part.
We believe there is one way to make a difference in our area and that is to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We have teams that go out every week and serve in multiple areas of ministry. No matter what the situation is we believe that JESUS is the Answer.
Each week a group of men go into the County Jail and visit the men inmates, and a group of ladies go in and visit the lady inmates. They have Bible studies, recovery meetings, discipleship, and just some real old fashion encounters with the Holy Spirit that shake up the lives of every person involved. Our heart is to show them they are not alone and that there is a God madly in love with them. Jesus came to set the captives free.
How can we love our neighbors if we never go out and meet them? We have about 10 street teams that hit the neighborhoods each week, going door to door and loving on our neighbors. Sometimes we bring food to the hungry, clothes to the needy, or just a simple prayer of rest to the weary. We go out with the expectation of the power of God to move…….and He DOES! We see miracles every week: salvations, healings, deliverance, miraculous help with finances, and family reconciliations. We are having a blast with our community as we break down the walls of silence together.
It’s pretty simple, on the second Saturday of every month we meet up in the Ministry Center at 9:30am. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. We have a time of prayer, a really short training, and then we hit the streets loving on our Community in simple ways such as handing out water bottles at the park or just witnessing to people on downtown Main Street. The idea is to show people how easy it is to share your faith and be the hands of Jesus.
