RACING TOWARD WW 3
*WW3 is Armageddon and events leading up to the battle….
-this is the final war of humanity
*the word Armageddon is only used once in the Bible in Rev 16:16
—Armageddon means Mount of Megiddo and also means to cut off
(1) THERE ARE EVENTS TAKING PLACE IN 2016 RIGHT NOW POINTING TO THE FACT THAT WE ARE RACING TOWARD WW3 – Luke 12:54-56
A, Israel has reoccupied their land – Is 11:11-12
-Israel has been scattered around the world but on May 14, 1948, Israel became a nation…
-there are more Jewish people in Israel now than anywhere else in the world. It is the first time this has happened
B. A movement toward globalism – Genesis 11:1-9
-they are called one worlders
-they want one world government, one world currency, one world religion
C. Russia and Arab nations unite – Ez 38:1-5
-this alignment is coming into existence right now…….
D. The coming Middle East peace – 1 Thess 5:1-3
-there is a desperate cry for peace in this world today
-peace will come upon the earth for a brief period of time – a false peace – Rev 6:1-2 & Daniel 9:26-27
(2) THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON – WW3 – IS THE FINAL CONFLICT ON EARTH BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL – Rev 12:7-12
-there are 3 main characters in Revelation 12:
*woman – is Israel
*child is Jesus Christ
*dragon is satan
v7 – there is a supernatural war or battle going on in heaven that we cannot see:
good – God, Michael & his angels
evil – the dragon (satan) and his angels (fallen angels)
vs8-11 – 2 things:
1. the enemy can never prevail over the Lord, His angels or over a believer who is right with the Lord and knows how to use his authority ion Jesus Christ…….
2. satan and his fallen angels are cast out of heaven to earth for good
v12 – the heavens rejoice cause satan is gone
– the earth receives a WOE – a warning of judgment that is to come…
satans wrath – means a fierce passion as if breathing hard. He has little time left…
v13 – satan creates a wave of anti-semitism on earth
v14 – the Lord intervenes and takes Israel to a place of safety
nourished – means the Lord will supply all of Israels’ needs…
v15 – water or flood – these are enemies chasing down Israel
v16 – the nations who are friends of Israel help to protect Israel
v17 – the enemy wants to kill Jewish people and believers
-he drives the armies and gives to Armageddon – Daniel 10:12-14,20
***Revelation 16:12-16***
There are 7 bowl or vial judgments that come upon the earth for rejecting Jesus Christ
judgement – means to make a decision based on another persons decision
v1 – the voice of the lord comes out of the Jewish temple. This is during the 2nd half of the 7 year tribulation period…

v12 – the Euphrates River dries up. It is a huge river in the Middle East that would be hard to cross.
Kings of the East – this is a coalition of nations that aligns with China to march toward Israel…
vs13-14 – 3 unclean spirits – demons – they look like frogs…Frogs are unclean animals according to the Ot law
*they counterfeit miracles
*these demons lead the armies of the world to the battle of Armageddon
(3) THE BATTLE OF ARMAGEDDON IS FOUGHT AT THE END OF THE TRIBULATION PERIOD – Joel chapters 2 & 3
Joel – 3:1 – Behold – means to get someones attention
-those days – refers to the end of the tribulation
at that time – refers to the second coming of Jesus Christ
The Lord will do 2 things from Joel 3:1-2:
1. The Lord will bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem – this speaks of restoring again the fortunes of Israel
*Joel 2:18-19, 21-25a
2. The Lord will gather Israels’ enemies to Armageddon – v2
a. Jehosophat – means Jehovah is Judge
-there are different names for where the battle of Armageddon will take place
b. the Lord will judge the nations for their treatment of Israel
Examples: v2 – they divide the land of Israel
v3 – cast lots – they treat people like things
v3 – boys as harlots – young boys sold into homosexual activity
v3 – Jewish girls sold into slavery and prostitution
v4 – when you mistreat the people of the lord, you mistreat the Lord Himself and it will come back to get you
-vs4,19 – the Lord names the names of the countries who come against Israel
v9 – get ready for war and Armageddon
-The Lord gives the nations of the world a chance to turn to Him – Joel 2:1-2, 12-15 – trumpets blowing/alarms going off —– the nations refuse to receive jesus…
v12 – this is the battle of Armageddon
v13 – this is the harvest of judgment upon the nations of the world. It is about their sin and not the people
v14 – the decision has been made and it is now time
v15 – the earth grows dark
v16 the Lord returns and His presence lights up the world, protects Israel, crushes Israels enemies
v17 – only believers will be left after His judgment occurs – Matt 24:36-42
aliens – are unbelievers
v18 – this is the millennium of Jesus Christ when Jesus rules and reigns
vs19-21 – there will always be an Israel and Jerusalem
v19 is Egypt and Syria
