Definition of Pour Out
It speaks of abundance, overflowing, and a gusher. It is not a sip, drop or squirt.

– We receive an outpouring of the Holy Spirit through prayer….

*** Prayer is simple conversation with God…be yourself…talk like you normally do…

*** Prayer develops a friendship with the Lord which breeds boldness…

WE NEED CONTINUAL PRAYER – Eph 6:18 & 1 Thess 5:16-18

Continual – means persistent; keep the pressure on; endure; stick to it; do no give up or quit

Example: Genesis 32:24-30

Why pray continually?

– continual prayer produces a continual flow of the Spirit
– ” ” produces friendship with God
– ” ” keeps us strong
– ” ” covers others when they grow weary

– ” ” defeats the strategies of the enemy

WE NEED PAGA PRAYER

A. PRAYER IS A MEETING TIME

(1) the word page means a meeting

a. We meet with God

b. We meet with the enemy

*** We Meet With God

a. To ask Him to meet with others

b. To place all of our burdens on Him – Isaiah 53:6,12 & 1 Peter 5:7

*** We Meet With God

a. We meet with the enemy to undo a meeting the enemy has had with people to oppress and destroy and bring harm and hurt

b. Paga is also a violent word. It is a battlefield or warfare term

* Now , we must enforce the victory that we have received……keep praying for continued victory…

PRAYER MUST BE HOLY SPIRIT LED – Genesis 28:10-17

* The word Paga also means to come upon or light upon

* The Holy Spirit comes upon us to show us what to pray for…

*** Genesis 28:10-17 did not predetermine to spend the night where he did. He was guided there by the Holy Spirit…

* Jacob came to Bethel which means House of God…

* Jacob had a life changing experience or encounter with God………at the House of God…

* Some things are only received when you come to the House of God…to Bethel…
