Miracles

3) Miracles occur when God decides to break the laws that govern the universe
a) There are scientific laws that govern the universe
b) There are spiritual laws that govern the universe. In the kingdom waiting is good, Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles they shall run and not be weary
c) Jesus broke the law of sin and death
d) On this occasion Jesus multiplied matter

4) 15:33 Miracles occur in a desolate place
a) When the hour is late 11:59
b) I believe your need is an opportunity for God to do a miracle

5) Miracles have a spiritual significance
a) John 6:35 I am the bread of life he who comes to me shall not hunger and he who believes in me shall never thirst
b) 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Truly, truly I say to you, you seek Me not because you saw signs but because you ate of the loaves and were filled
c) Don’t miss out! We can be distracted by good things, we can be distracted by bad things
d) Miracles confirm the word of God

6) 15:32 I feel compassion for the multitude
a) Multitude common people

a) Place your marriage in His hands

e) There is no better place to be than in the sovereign will of God

9) 15:36 Broken yet multiplied
a) The process of brokenness: usually we are not willing to change, slow down, listen, change direction, change our priorities, give up things or relationships, that separate us from God or hinder our growth as a disciple of Christ
b) The Lord will do something to get your attention
c) The purpose in this kind of pain is to bring us to a place of submissive openness before the Lord
d) Being broken involves a period of pain followed by a period of growth
e) Break you then remake you
f) In the kingdom you go down then up
